Received his PhD in Sociology from the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto in 2010. He is Coordinating Professor at the Instituto Superior Politécnico Gaya.
Since 2012, he has directed the Journal of Psychology, Education, and Culture, organizing five International Congresses (2013, 2015, 2019, 2022, 2023).

He chaired the ISPGAYA22 international congress on Sustainability in September. He leads the Research and Development Center at ISPGAYA and contributes to CEOS.PP research. Since 2014, he's been President of the Scientific-Technical Council of ISPGAYA, balancing administrative duties with 25 years of teaching experience since 1997. He consults in sociology for the Ecomuseum of Vale do Neiva project since April 2022. He teaches undergraduate and master's courses and mentors master's dissertations. Since September 2017, he's participated in ERASMUS programs with universities in Poland, Finland, Belgium, and Lithuania.

Rodrigo’s experience was primarily as general manager, strategy, and marketing manager. He has worked in more than 20 countries and has lived for six months or more in Brazil, The United States, England, Spain, and Argentina. Rodrigo is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Rodrigo is currently full-time business faculty at Montana State University, Billings, where he teaches Strategy and Entrepreneurship. His research stream is on innovation management, technology forecasting, and corporate strategy. Rodrigo holds a PhD from Positivo University in Brazil, and formerly was PhD visiting research scholar at Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley. In addition, he holds an MBA in International Management from Baldwin Wallace University, and graduate degrees in GIS and Marketing.
